I help small brands look like the big ones.
I'm Michael Abellera, the designer behind Meekow. Since 2014 I've drawn mascots and logos for founders who want their brand to feel established and easy to remember.
How I got here
I started taking client work on Fiverr and never looked back. One client came back for 35 logos. That kind of repeat trust taught me what matters: understand the business first, sketch fast, and treat someone's brand like it's my own.
How I work with you
No jargon, no endless decks. You send a short brief, I send concepts, and we shape the character together until it fits. You always know what's happening and what comes next, and you end with files you own outright.
Why it holds up
A brand mark has to work everywhere, from a storefront sign down to a favicon. So I build clean shapes first and add personality on top. The result reads clearly in one color, on packaging, on merch, and on a phone screen.
Good to know
How long does a mascot take?
Most mascots take one to two weeks from first sketch to final files. Logos are usually faster. If you have a hard deadline, tell me up front and I'll let you know honestly whether it fits.
How many revisions do I get?
Enough to get it right. I'd rather you love the final art than count rounds. We agree on a direction early so the tweaks stay small and quick.
What files do I get?
You get PNGs for the web, SVGs that scale to any size, and print-ready files. For mascots and brand packs you also get the layered source so you can adapt the art later.
Do I own the artwork?
Yes. Once the project is paid, the artwork is yours to use however you like, on products, ads, packaging, anywhere. I'll ask to show it in my portfolio, and I'm happy to keep it private if you'd rather I didn't.
How do we start?
Send me a note through the contact page with a bit about your brand and what you have in mind. I'll reply with a quote and a rough timeline, usually within a day.
